I checked with Man and the truck comes with 22.5" as a standard. To switch to 20" they are asking 3900 Euros. I guess I will stay with the 22.5".
Can you recommend me with, apart from the Michelin XZL, good tires that accept low pressure? Apparently from what I heard the Conti MPT81 does not perform with low pressure!
Cheers.

Hello Capttravel,
Thanks for your inputs.
Regarding your following comments: "you can lock the central differential if your rear tires are loosing traction"
Do you know if this can be done when the truck is driving at 20 km/h like the Unimog or do we need to stop the truck to lock it. I have been told by my truck dealer that you need to stop the truck but, you know, I have very limited trust in him.
Regarding the wheel size is their any specific reasons why you choose 20" and not the 22.5"?
Our engin is the 184 Kw (250hp) with a gear reduction of i=4.34. Our choice went for this reduction because we want to be able to drive at 110 km on the main road.
Cheers.

Hello,
Sorry but I write in English because my German is very very poor!
It looks like we have some TGM expert on that forum. I am planning to buy a Man TGM to travel around the world and I have some questions for you guys:
Should I choose the Fulltime 4x4 or the 4x2 that can be switch manually in 4x4?
With the Fulltime 4x4 is it possible to lock the central differential when running like with the Unimog?
Wheels size: should I choose the 20" or 22.5" and why?
Thanks in advance for your inputs.
Cheers.
Hubert.
